COSMOTHENE L420 is a linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) resin engineered for extrusion coating applications. It offers an optimal balance between neck-in control and processability, ensuring consistent performance during high-speed operations. This grade delivers strong heat seal integrity and excellent adhesion to a variety of base substrates including polyester film, BOPP, paper, aluminum, and PE woven cloth. Notably, COSMOTHENE L420 contains no added additives, making it suitable for sensitive applications where purity is critical. It complies with U.S. FDA Regulation 21 CFR 177.1520 (C) 2.1 for indirect food contact when processed according to standard industry practices.
