Lihat Profil SellerPremium hexene copolymer HDPE for large blow-molded and thermoformed parts requiring superior ESCR, impact strength, and rigidity
Marlex® HXM 50100S is an extra-high molecular weight hexene copolymer polyethylene engineered for demanding industrial applications. Designed for large blow-molded and thermoformed components, it delivers exceptional environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR >1000 hours), outstanding low-temperature impact strength (brittleness temp < -75°C), high rigidity, and excellent melt strength. Compliant with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(c) for food contact under specified conditions and listed in Drug Master File #1016, it meets ASTM D4976 – PE 235 standards. Ideal for fuel tanks, agricultural containers, automotive dunnage, playground equipment, and chemical storage drums where durability and safety are critical.
Specifications
- Density: 0.948 g/cm³ (ASTM D1505)
- Melt Index (190°C/2.16 kg): 0.06 g/10 min (ASTM D1238)
- Tensile Strength at Yield: 25 MPa (ASTM D638)
- Elongation at Break: 700% (ASTM D638)
