PROTECTOR is a metal separator which is installed directly over the feeder of an injection moulder, an extruder or a blow moulder. It helps to reduce clogged nozzles, filters & hot channel systems which lower the production downtime and avoid machinery damage. It detects all magnetic and non-magnetic metal contaminations (steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper etc). Metal contaminations are rejected by means of the separation unit ("Quick Flap").
