HDPE SGM9450F is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin developed under Braskem's "I'm green" portfolio, specifically designed for the high molecular weight film extrusion segment. Produced using advanced bimodal technology, this resin features a wide molar mass distribution that significantly facilitates processing. Films extruded from this grade exhibit high tenacity and excellent impact resistance characteristics. Additionally, it supports environmental sustainability with a minimum biobased carbon content of 96%, determined in accordance with ASTM D6866.
Key Features
- High-density polyethylene produced with bimodal technology.
- Sustainable formulation with a minimum of 96% biobased carbon content.
- Wide molar mass distribution for easier processing and extrusion stability.
- High tenacity and excellent impact resistance characteristics in final film applications.
- Outstanding mechanical performance, including exceptional tensile strength and elongation balance.
