High Flow, High Impact Polystyrene for Injection Molding


Styrolution PS 495F is a high-flow, high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) engineered for demanding injection molding applications. It offers an excellent balance of impact resistance, stiffness, and heat resistance, making it ideal for consumer goods, packaging, and household items. This grade provides superior flow characteristics for thin-wall and complex part designs while maintaining dimensional stability and a smooth surface finish.

  • Impact Strength (Notched Izod): 12 kJ/m² (ISO 180)
  • Tensile Strength at Yield: 32 MPa (ISO 527)

  • Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT): 85 °C @ 1.8 MPa (ISO 75)
