Mobil Rarus 425 is a premium-grade, ashless mineral-based lubricant engineered for air compressors operating under mild to severe conditions. Part of the trusted Mobil Rarus™ 400 Series, it delivers exceptional oxidation stability, low carbon formation, and outstanding water separability. Ideal for reciprocating, rotary screw, and vane compressors, this ISO VG 46 lubricant extends oil life, reduces maintenance costs, and protects critical components from wear and corrosion — even at continuous operating temperatures up to 220°C. Compatible with all compressor metals and mineral-oil elastomers, it’s a proven upgrade for systems suffering from oil degradation or valve fouling.
