PREFCHEM HD 5511 is a premium-grade high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin developed by Pengerang Petrochemical Company Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of PETRONAS Chemicals Group. Engineered for thermoplastic applications, this resin delivers outstanding mechanical properties, making it ideal for injection molding and extrusion processes. With good flow characteristics, balanced rigidity, and low warpage, HD 5511 ensures dimensional stability and precision in complex molded parts. It offers excellent chemical resistance, is odorless, and insoluble in water—making it suitable for food-contact and hygiene-sensitive applications. Its density range (0.93–0.97 g/cm³) and melting point above 125°C provide a lightweight yet robust material solution for durable industrial and consumer goods.
